- Didier Heiremans and Michael Fox
Didier Heiremans, Délégué-général aux Etats-Unis d’Amérique of the Union francophone des Belges à l’Étranger (UFBE), currently serves as President of this Brussels-based service and lobbying organization for Belgian expats. He also serves on the Board of Directors of Europeans Throughout The World, a non-governmental federation of national associations for expatriates of European Union countries.
Previously, he has worked for Brussels International Trade Fair, Marriott Hotels & Resorts, The Ford’s Theatre Society, The Human Rights Campaign, WWC-Elizabeth Taylor Medical Center, and as a Communications Consultant. Heiremans holds a BSBA in International Business and a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) in Finance from The American University in Washington DC. On July 12, 2006, in recognition of his service to Belgium Heiremans was awarded the distinction and rank of Officier de l’Ordre de la Couronne (Order of the Crown) by H.M. King Albert II. In April 2011, Didier Heiremans became President of the Board of Directors of the Alliance Française de Washington.
