  • Chuck Chandler

Chuck Chandler, Partner, Valeo Partners, an international consulting firm practicing in the legal and life sciences markets.  Prior to joining Valeo, Chandler was a shareholder in two successful enterprises, Information America and CourtEXPRESS; both acquired by Thomson Reuters in 1999 and 2005, respectively.  Chandler received his BBA in Finance and International Business from the University of Texas and le Diplôme d'Expert en Cuisine Française from l'Université de Dijon.  In 2007, Chandler launched the Impressionists' Table, a dinner lecture series profiling the favorite foods of the Impressionists.  Chandler is currently writing a book, "The Way of Monet", that will be published in March 2010.  Chandler has been a member of the Alliance Française de Washington since 1994.  He and his wife, Debra, live in Washington, DC.  

 

  • Marie Thérèse Royce

Marie Thérèse Royce, Managing Director Global Strategic Initiatives for the Global Government and Public Affairs team of Alcatel-Lucent, is based in Washington, DC. Alcatel-Lucent is the world’s largest telecommunications equipment supplier, headquartered in Paris, France.

 

Royce received her Masters in Business Administration (MBA) in International Business from Georgetown University. She currently serves on the Board of Alliance Francaise, Meridian International, American Council of Young Political Leaders, and the Reform Institute. Ms. Royce is married to Congressman Ed Royce CA-40, a Member of the French Caucus. She has a strong interest in the French language and culture… her grandparent’s first language was French.

 

 

  • Didier Heiremans

Didier Heiremans, Délégué-général aux Etats-Unis d’Amérique of the Union francophone des Belges à l’Étranger (UFBE), currently serves as President of this Brussels-based service and lobbying organization for Belgian expats. He also serves on the Board of Directors of Europeans Throughout The World, a non-governmental federation of national associations for expatriates of European Union countries.

Previously, he has worked for Brussels International Trade Fair, Marriott Hotels & Resorts, The Ford’s Theatre Society, The Human Rights Campaign, WWC-Elizabeth Taylor Medical Center, and as a Communications Consultant. Heiremans holds a BSBA in International Business and a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) in Finance from The American University in Washington DC. On July 12, 2006, in recognition of his service to Belgium Heiremans was awarded the distinction and rank of Officier de l’Ordre de la Couronne (Order of the Crown) by H.M. King Albert II.
