Finally, don’t be afraid to show off your hidden singing skills during our French karaoke session.
Or if you are too shy, just stick around, have a good time, mingle on the terrace and enjoy a reception with drinks which will be served throughout the event.

Each June 21 since 1982, on an initiative by the French Ministry of Culture, amateur and profesionnal musicians all across France invade the streets and courtyards, squares and gardens, stations and museums, for the pleasure of playing music, listening and sharing. Not satisfied by simply bringing music out into the open, the Music Day (Fête de la Musique) has become a genuine social phenomenon.
This musical event has spread outside of France and now takes place in more than 100 countries. Come to the Alliance Française to participate in this French musical experience in DC.
