Beaujolais Nouveau Wine & Cheese Party

Featuring French oldies music, a warm atmosphere and of course the red and white beverages which go so well with our fragrant specialties!

This year, the traditional annual celebration of the Beaujolais Nouveau at the Alliance Française de Washington, will feature Jerry Roman– AKA the Piano Man – who will entertain our guests. Jerry knows all the most famous classic and contemporary French songs from Edith Piaf, Brassens to Johnny Hallyday, the Rita Mitsouko, Mc Solar and so many others… The audience will be asked smoothly to participate and practice its French while singing. “The Piano Man” has entertained embassies, The USS Sequoia Presidential Yacht, The Vice President’s House, and many other venues.

Then from 9:00 to 10:30, DJ Hervé from “Planete Chic” will liven up the party with his electronic mixes of house music and French covers.

General Admission $35; AF Members $25; Fall or Winter Session $20 (for this price you may only reserve by phone). Reservations will be accepted until 4:00pm Friday, November 20. Admission will be $2 more at the door, cash only.
