We are delighted to announce an upcoming Québec film series presented in cooperation with the Bureau de Quebec and Letelier Theater in Georgetown. Every Tuesday during the month of November, a screening will take place at 7pm at the Letelier Theater (3251 Prospect Street NW, Upper Courtyard). All films are in French with English subtitles. An opening reception will take place immediately following the first screening on November 3rd.
Tickets are now available at www.francedc.org, and will also be sold at the door.

Little Jessy’s world is already unstable, but it is turned upside down when his heroine addicted mother runs away from home. His blue collar father tries to take care of the family, but the eldest children Sam and Kelly, tempted by drugs and prostitution, have already begun to go off-course. Jessy thinks he has found his path: he will be a wrestler. He dreams of escaping his surroundings by delving into the world of his heroes. But as he learns from his vagabond friend, these icons are not as great as he imagines them to be.
