The Alliance Française de Washington offers a rich French collection of books, movies, music, magazines, and language learning materials for Francophones and French language learners alike! We are proud to house an extensive collection of materials for young readers ages 0-18 in our Salle Jeunesse.

The library collections are open to the public for on-site enjoyment. All AFDC memberships include access to both the on-site library and Culturethèque eLibrary. Please come to the AFDC lending desk in the library to set up your AFDC library account or email the Librarian.

The library also offers programming for children and adults, including Heure du Conte, Do, Re, Mi, and seasonal celebrations for young audiences and Salon de Conversation, #cafeensemble, Jouons !, and Club de Lecture for adults. For upcoming library events, please refer to the Library Calendar.
